You'll be able to hop along when you click on the NEXT button down below to visit 8 different blogs featuring EMBOSS RESIST projects from 8 different countries. WOW! You may have just arrived here from Zoe Tant's blog or maybe you're starting with me – however you got here, please make sure you scroll down and click on the NEXT button to continue on the hop.
SQUEAL!!! I love how this turned out! I used a BLACK EMBOSS RESIST technique for my project today!
The DEFINITELY DAHLIA background stamp is gorgeous as a focal point like the card below or as a great background element on your cards and scrapbook pages. I combined it with the ONE BIG MEANING stamp set for a beautiful thank you card. Both of these stamp sets are retiring – you can get them and find all the retiring items when you scroll down the screen and click on the LAST CHANCE PRODUCTS image.
Here's a video tutorial showing you how to create a BLACK EMBOSS RESIST card of your own:

I used Melon Mambo ink on this inside layer:

- Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper 3-3/4" x 5"

Wow love this Kelly. It’s really eye catching. Thanks for being part of our Totally Techniques Team Zoe x
Wow! That card is a stunner! I love how striking the colours are against the black background!
hi kelly,
i watched your video today and wow how gorgeous your card is. i will have to give this a try. you said your friend’s husband makes the little bow maker and you could put me in touch with her. i would really appreciate this and will order a couple. i also love your jokes. keep them coming…..

Again to see this technique on video tutorial is absolutely amazing Kelly, but to do it on DSP as well that is also such a fab idea. If I was better with a whole pad of black ink I might be giving this technique a go! LOL :O)
I love the combination of the bright colors and black. You card looks so chic and modern.
Ah you even did another extra technique! This is Josephscoat, and a lovely way to show emboss resist. It is a bit of magic!
