This is a fun and easy card. I cut the Primrose Petals card base 4-1/4" x 11 – scored it at 5-1/2 and 2-3/4. Fold the card closed and then fold the front back to form your card base. The white inside layer is 4 x 5-1/4 – embossed on the Tulip folder. The Patio Party DSP is 2-1/2 x 4. The greeting layer starts at 4 x 2 and goes down by 1/4" increments. I love the font on the greeting – from the From the Heart stamp set shown below.
This is one of the cards from my Card:Scrap Buffet last month!!! There's another Buffet this coming Saturday from 9am – 1pm if you'd like to join us – just let me know!!!
Stamps: From the Heart Ink: Midnight Muse Accessories: Starfruit Stitched Ribbon; Elegant Butterfly Punch; Dimensionals; Tulips Embossing Folder; Big Shot Cardstock: Primrose Petals; Whisper White; Summer Starfruit; Patio Party DSP
MORE CONVENTION SUNDAY PHOTOS
This is one of the buildings in the Temple Square – in my previous blog post – it's the one that Linda and I are standing in front of. Isn't this pipe organ impressive?
Here's a shot so you can see the columns and pews…very interesting tidbits about them…the columns are wood painted to look like marble and the pews are actually white pine. You would swear they are oak – each woodgrain line is hand painted to look like oak!
Here's a highlight video from the convention…
