Isn't this pretty? Another card for the Technique Class on Wednesday and Thursday this week. The Technique is called FAUX TEARING – fun and simple with stunning results! We'll be using the NEW Blossom Punch and Mixed Bunch stamp set. The butterflies are from Nature Walk.

And now for some more creativity…my daughter, Hailey wanted to play a part in my new stamp room – MY HAPPY PLACE. She did a little designing when we were in the laying out and designing phase. The girls' got good taste…she wanted me to purchase cupboards and cabinets with doors so everything was all tidy and neat. Well that just wasn't in the cards…so her "design" went down the tubes. But I found a way for her to help with my room…she can decorate it! Like I said – she's got good taste – I completely trust her in whatever she comes up with. After she did a little project for me (I'll show you that later) she surprised me with the picture below!!!! Isn't it adorable? It will get a prominate spot in MY HAPPY PLACE!!!
On a side note…hubby has been with me for the past 2 weeks – 24/7!!! He had another knee surgery again (same knee was done back in August). The benefit of this…he did a lot of cooking after that 1st week!!! I LOVE THAT…because I HATE to cook…love to bake, but I'd rather scrub toliets than cook a meal – LOL! So on his last night off work he went out and got a new grill…and had to try it out in a snowstorm! The steaks & potatoes were delicious. Today – I had the house back to myself…and it was fabulous. I actually stamped in MY HAPPY PLACE!!! As soon as I get things decorated and completely moved in…I'll be sharing tons of photos with you…I can hardly wait!!!
