Batty About YOU!

Here's a super fun card that my Technique Tuesday stampers enjoyed making this month! The next Technique Tuesday stamping fun night is October 7th – pop me an email to join us!!!

Here's a few details for you:

• the leaves are from the Flower Frenzy Bigz die
• I needed a background for my Smokey Slate layer…so I chose the Happy Haunting greeting stamp and inked it in Smokey Slate ink…I just stamped it at a diagonal all across this layer
• my pumpkin was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink (of course!) and I colored the stem using a Mossy Meadow marker
• The Fall Fest and Fun Fall Framelits Dies are the BOMB!!!!  

• The little bat is so stinkin' cute….just makes you smile…doesn't it?
• I used the Owl Builder Punch combined with the Petite Pennants Builder Punch
• The wings were punched with the Petite Pennants punch – you can see below that I just cut three scallop shapes out of the end to make it look like a bat wing
• I used the tiny little heart shape from the Owl punch for the owl beak…just turn it up side down and tuck it in under the eyes
• The squiggles on the eyes were drawn with the Project Life Journaling Pens – love them!!!
• Last – I sponged some white craft ink on my bat to give it some dimension

The inside is stamped with the Frightful Wreath stamp set and another cute little pumpkin from Fall Fest!

Measurements:  

• Basic Black 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 
• Elegant Eggplant (4 x 5-1/4)
• Smokey Slate (3-3/4 x 5)
• Scraps:  Basic Black; Pumpkin Pie; Whisper White; Mossy Meadow

Instructions:

1. Stamp “happy haunting” in Smokey Slate ink diagonally across the entire front of the Smokey Slate layer
2. Die cut branch leaves and adhere to card front
3. Adhere Smokey Slate layer to Elegant Eggplant layer and both to card front
4. Punch owl, sponge with white ink – use Petite Pennant Punch for bat wings – cut scalloped edge and sponge with white ink – assemble and adhere to branch
5. Ink up pumpkin – use Mossy Meadow Marker to color the stem – stamp and die cut
6. Die cut ghost
7. Stamp faces on ghost and pumpkin
8. Adhere pumpkin to card front – use Dimensionals to adhere ghost
9. Stamp “Trick-or-Treat” in Pumpkin Pie Ink on the inside
10. Stamp a pumpkin on the inside too
