Oh my…..I am in love with so many things about this card!!!! First I love the new Glimmer Paper!!! And then the Trinket Keys??? And how about his medallion???
This is just one of the cards we'll be making at my Technique Class on Tuesday evening!!! You'll also enjoy making a punch card and a Big Shot card….if you'd like to join me – please call or email!!!
Here's a close-up of the tag – I used the Designer Label Punch and Modern Label Punch with a little sliver of black punched with the Pinking Hearts Border Punch and a little glimmery heart tops it off! The saying comes from the You're a Gem stamp set – perfect for little tags like this.
The Trinket Keys are just precious…they're available in the NEW Occasions Mini Catalog!
BONUS: And now – here's how I made the medallion!!!!
Cut a strip of our new First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper 1 1/2" x 12". Score at 1/4" invervals, from one end to the other. Kinda hard to see in the photo…
Fold on all the score lines making peaks and valleys – add Sticky Strip to one end of your strip.
Adhere the ends together to form a circle.
Then you just flatten your circle into a medallion…
Put some hot glue on a 1 3/8" circle of cardstock and secure it to the middle of the medallion.
I sponged the edges and creases of my medallion with Soft Suede ink to make it take on a vintage look!!!
Secure your medallion to your card front with hot glue and WAAA LAAAA!
Here are some of the products I used to make my card:
#122268 $14.95 (Wood) #122270 $11.95 (Clear)
#121878 First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper
#121790Real Red Glimmer Paper $3.95 (2 12" x 12" sheets)

So happy I found this!! I’ve been wanting one of these from eggplant CS for so long, and I’ve tried every kind of adhesive I could think of to keep them from coming apart. Hot Glue!! Whodathunkit?? I just completed it, so I won’t know for sure for a couple days, but I think this is going to work! Thanks so much
