This card makes me think about fall…it's the colors that do it! We might just be using bleach at my TECHNIQUE TUESDAY class on September 1st!!! You're always welcome to join us – the more the merrier!!! All you need to bring is a $5 class fee, your scissors and adhesive. A minimum $15 order is required and if your order is over $40 the class is free! We'll be making 3 GREAT projects and you'll be able to get your hands on some fabulous new products from the Holiday Mini Catalog – it goes LIVE on September 1st!!!
Back to the card…Using bleach on your cards is a fun and easy technique. Make sure you wear some clothes you don't care about and protect your stamping surface just in case.
Did you know that the strength of your bleach only lasts a short time after you've opened your container? Something like only 48 hours before the strength of your bleach diminishes. It will still work after that time…it just won't be as strong.
You'll be using an Aqua Painter for this technique. The bleach will not damage it – but rinse it out before you put it away. You don't want bleach to be sitting in it when you store it.
One more thing I want to draw your attention to…do you see the striped banner that looks like designer paper? That's really our corrugated cardboard paper – cool huh? You can find it below in the products I have featured by the images of the stamp set.
Give this a try – it's fun!
