- Die Cutting Machine
- Adhesive (Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots used here)
- Other supplies as needed to complete the project: Scissors (Stampin’ Up! supplies used here: Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textures Impressions Embossing Folder, Linen Thread, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Always Artichoke ink pads, Aqua Painter, Bone Folder)
Step-by-step tutorial:
Step 1
Cut card stock base at 4-1/4″ x 11″, score at 5-1/2″ – fold in half and burnish edge with bone folder.
Step 2
Drag the Crumb Cake ink pad across the 2-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.
Step 3
Crumple up this layer.
Step 4
Apply Soft Suede ink directly to cardstock – leaving it crumpled up so the ink only touches the layer randomly as shown.
Step 5
Crumple up the layer again.
Apply Old Olive ink directly to cardstock leaving it crumpled up so the ink only touches the layer randomly as shown.
Step 7
Crumple up the layer again.
Step 8
Apply Always Artichoke ink directly to cardstock leaving it crumpled up so the ink only touches the layer randomly as shown.
Step 9
Use the bone folder to flatten out the camo layer.
Step 10
Spritz the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Crumb Cake layer with a spritzer and water to soften the cardstock.
Step 11
Emboss one of the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Crumb Cake cardstock layers in the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textures Impressions Embossing Folder and die cutting machine.
Step 12
Adhere embossed layer to Early Espresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Step 13
Stamp all images with Early Espresso ink as shown below.
Step 14
Color boots in with Aqua Painter and Early Espresso ink.
Step 15
Adhere layers to Early Espresso layers and with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Step 16
Adhere camo layer to card front.
Step 17
Add Dimensionals to back of Happy Birthday layer.
Step 18
Adhere to card front where shown.
Step 19
Wrap Linen Thread around 3 fingers 4-5 times and tie in a knot.
Step 20
Adhere Linen Thread to card front with Mini Glue Dots.
Step 21
Adhere boot layer to inside of card.
