I love the fact that the SEA OF TEXTURES BUNDLE is super fun with the little octopus that I've affectionately named FRANK and you can also make an elegant card like I did here. Isn't it the best when a stamp set has so much versatility?
I chose a watercolor wash background. Watercolor paper is the best paper to use for this technique. I wet it down with my Aqua Painter and then pick up some color from the lid of my Pool Party ink pad and distribute it around. Once that's dried I took my Aqua painter and tapped it on my finger to get droplets of water to splatter on the surface to create almost a tie die effect. I almost forgot…I used Crumb Cake ink on the bottom 1/4 of my layer under the greeting and sand dollars.
I thought the DETAILED TRIO PUNCH was a perfect little accent for the corner of my greeting layer. And OMGosh – those sand dollars are the BOMB! I sponged them with Crumb Cake ink – so pretty right?

A very delicate card Kelly, I have to be honest I had to google what a sand dollar was I did not know. That is so, so bad being that I was a teacher/HT and that but I had never heard of a sand dollar before. When I googled them, I saw instantly the resemblance to the SU stamp. Thank you for sharing this project with us crafters. :O)
There seems to be issues with today’s blog hop posts. I can access Debbie’s blog, but cannot scroll down to see the project. This is not the first blog post I have had a problem with today.
Very pretty – loving the gold sand dollars! Very beachy scene!
I have to agree with Donna, I can see everything about Kelly’s card….but only the top half of Debbie’s post….cannot see her project at all.
