Cruise – Day 2

Day 2 of our vacation found us sitting on our hotel balcony relaxing…well Steve and I were relaxing…Hailey was finishing up the last of her catch up homework – finalizing a paper and uploading it to her professor. Gotta love technology!

I was cherishing the warm weather and checking out my surroundings. How about this weird looking tree? And this little creature…climbing around in our shrubs.

We jumped a shuttle over to the port to jump on our ship and thats where things got a little hairy. The coast guard was doing an inspection…and then the computers went down…delaying almost everyone for close to 4 hours! We all had to sit in the terminal doing nothing! By the time we got on the ship – we were starving…and they started shutting down the food places in preparation for the mandatory life boat drills. OH MY – we were at the front of the line for pizza and Hailey was on he verge of a complete meltdown (Giggle – don’t tell her I was giggling here). Some lady said NO – you open up these lines and let us eat…and they did! Happy Hailey!

We arrived in our room to find our first pillow gift – these fabulous beach towel/chair covers – monogramed with STAMPIN’ UP! and a free Paper Pumpkin kit voucher!

The ship is amazing! And huge! Thank goodness I have my family with me to lead me around. Steve says that I have a “full on lobotomy” the minute I hit the airport on my vacations…tee hee hee…he’s right!
