And now for some more fun!!!

Hailey had a big day yesterday….she started her first job at a nursing home!!!  She told me when looking at jobs – she thought she'd like to work at a nursing home because she likes OLD PEOPLE!!!  That's really good news for me!!! LOL!

Not only was she starting her new job right after school….but she had try-outs for the Dance Team right after work.  She's been working soooooo hard on learning the dance routine….my fingers are more than crossed for her!  As I watched her practice a SUPER fast dance routine…I was amazed to find that she can do the SPLITS!!!!  Remember…she's only 4 months out from major ALC reconstructive surgery…the splits made me cringe.  "Not to worry MOM!  I know my limits!" – I sure hope so…none of us need to go through that injury again…I'm not a very good nurse…way out of my comfort zone!

Anyways – I just had to share this adorable gift that I gave Hailey yesterday to wish her good luck.  I found these "make me laugh" cupcakes at WalMart and then went to the bakery to ask for an individual container for it.  I made the topper for the container from the Good Egg stamp set and the large scallop die. I used the Sincere Salutations stamp set – GOOD LUCK and just put a "C" before the luck for "GOOD CLUCK!"

Doesn't this just make you giggle???

My intention was to put this in her car before school ended – we love surprises!!!  But I was running behind (big surprise) and got to school just as the kids were coming out…where the heck is her car???  She always parks in front of the school and it was nowhere to be found.  I drove around and found it on the back side street…and she was almost there.  So I handed it to her and she loved it in her mad rush to get to her very first day of the new job!!! SCORE!

We find out today if she made the Dance Team….I'm biting my nails in anticipation of that news!!!

Thanks for stopping by….
