It’s Magical

WOW! Isn't this adorable???? A super MAGICAL card for a special little someone! This stamp set is called MAGICAL DAY and it's part of the MYTHS & MAGIC SUITE on pages 36-37 of the Occasions Mini Catalog. Did you happen to catch the GLIMMER PAPER on page 37??? It is beautiful!!! And it's easy to miss on that page.

Dimensions: 

• Bermuda Bay – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼”
• Whisper White – 5 1/8” x 3 7/8”
• Myths & Magic Bermuda Bay Bubble DSP – 5” x 2”
• Eastern Palace Fresh Fig DSP – 4 ½” x 1 ½”
• Light Green Glimmer – 1” x 1 1/8”
• Turquoise Glimmer – 2 ¾” x 1”
• Whisper White – 2.5” x 2.5” for circle
• Whisper White Scraps for mermaid, banner and seahorses
• Bermuda Bay Shimmer Ribbon – 5”

Instructions:

• Fold card base in half.
• Place white piece in embossing folder with vines running up and down long way on paper and run through Big Shot, adhere to top of card with Fast Fuse.
• Punch banner ends on the two pieces of DSP and glue together.
• Tie ribbon around the top of the banners and trim ends at an angle.
• Attach banner with Fast Fuse at the top and dimensionals at the bottom.
• Punch out white 2 ¼” circle and adhere under ribbon with Fast Fuse.
• In Memento ink, stamp the mermaid and seahorses on white scraps. In Razzleberry ink, stamp the sentiment on white scrap.
• Use Big Shot and framelits to cut the mermaid, seahorses, sentiment, seaweed from light green glimmer paper, and banner from turquoise glimmer paper out.
• Cut the turquoise glimmer banner in half the long way and attach it to the back of the white banner sentiment using Fast Fuse.  Use dimensionals to adhere onto Fresh Fig/Bermuda Bay banner.
• Color the mermaid with Stampin’ Blends and seahorses with Stampin’ Write Markers. Attach mermaid with dimensionals and seahorses with Fast Fuse.
• Attach seaweed with Fast Fuse so the bottom parts are tucked under the turquoise glimmer paper.
• Stella your mermaid.
• Give your mermaid a pretty name.
