Project Sheet Monday & Mediterranean Cruise – Day 2

Ciao from the Mediterranean Sea – headed for Naples, Italy! We are at sea all day today. That makes for a great day to explore the ship and meet up with my fabulous friends – Barb Mullikin from Wyoming, Dena Rekow from Iowa, Connie Stewart from Oklahoma, BJ Peters from Minnesota, Laurie Krauss from Michigan, Dawn Olchefske from Minnesota and Jill Hilliard from Pennsylvania…wow…that's quite a spread right? One of the things I treasure about my journey with Stampin' Up! is all the amazing friends I've made over the years – from all over the country!!!

Supplies: 

  • Stamp SetsPop of Paradise – #141581
  • Cardstock (cs)– Melon Mambo – #115320, Basic Black – #121045, Whisper White – #100730
  • Ink Pads – Melon Mambo – #126948
  • Punches – 1 ¼” circle -  #119861, 1 3/8” circle – 119860
  • Melon Mambo Thick Baker’s Twine – 141689
  • Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper – 141648
  • Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape – 141649
  • Dimensionals – 104430

 Measurements:  

  • Melon Mambo Card Base 5 ½”   x 8 ½”
  • Three pieces of Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper, each one 1 ¾” x 4”
  • Whisper White for flamingo 2 ¼” x 3 ¼”
  • Basic Black 2 ½” x 3 ½”

Instructions:

  1. Score Melon Mambo cs at 4 ¼” and fold.
  2. Add three pieces of Pop of Pink Specialty paper to card front.
  3. Add Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape in between rows of patterned paper.
  4. Stamp flamingo on whisper white cardstock with Melon Mambo ink.
  5. Adhere flamingo to Basic Black cardstock.
  6. Stamp “Hello” onto scrap of Whisper White cardstock and punch out with 1 ¼” circle punch.
  7. Punch out another circle using Basic Black cardstock and 1 3/8” circle punch.
  8. Layer  “Hello” onto black circle.
  9. Tie Melon Mambo thick baker’s twine around flamingo cardstock pieces; fray ends.
  10. Assemble card, using dimensionals to raise the flamingo pieces and the “Hello.”
