Orange is the New…?

And now – on to our regularly scheduled program:

Orange is the new LEMON!! LOL! Did I get ya? I love this LEMON ZEST bundle – you can make any color of fruit you want and today it's oranges! My friend Connie Stewart designed this card – I love it!

Cutting & Scoring: 

• Crumb Cake – 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score and fold at 4 ¼”
• Crumb Cake – 1 ½” x 4” plus 1 ½” Circle Punch
• Whisper White – 3 ¾” x 5” plus scrap for leaves and sentiment
• Peekaboo Peach – 4” x 5 ¼”

Instructions:

• Stamp the full fruit, wider end of lemon at the top, on the right side of the 4” x 5 ¼” Peekaboo Peach cardstock (you will be using this piece as a layer so stay within the border).  Punch with the Lemon Builder punch.
• Stamp (2) cut oranges on the remaining area of the Peekaboo Peach.  If you don’t have enough room you can stamp over the cut area because you only need half an orange slice.  Punch with the 1 ¾” circle punch.  Cut one of the orange in half.
• Stamp the leaves and “Life’s Short” in Emerald Envy ink.  Punch out leaves.  Punch sentiment with 1 ⅜ ” Circle punch.
• Stamp “Squeeze it for all it’s worth” in Emerald Envy ink at the bottom right of the Whisper White cardstock.  Adhere onto the 4” x 5 ¼” Peekaboo Peach.  Adhere to the card base.
• Run the 1 ½” x 4” Crumb Cake cardstock through the Pinewood Planks Embossing folder.
• Rub Crumb Cake ink over the embossed image to make it pop.  Adhere to the card front.
• Adhere the leaves to the full orange.  Adhere the full orange slice to the card with SNAIL.  Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the full orange and adhere.  Add the orange segment with a Stampin’ Dimensional, covering the tip of the fruit to hide the end (will look more like an orange).
