Pinwheels make me SMILE

I don't know what it is about pinwheels – but they always make me smile.  And of course new babies do that too!  Here's a soft card just perfect to welcome a new life into the world…or congratulate an expectant mom at her baby shower or as a birthday card for that bundle of joy in your life.

This card came to me in a swap – I changed a couple little things and had to add that adorable pinwheel.  The tiny brads are pefect for the center. This little die (shown below) is only $4.95 – that's a pretty small price to add so much joy to my card!  And the Cloudy Day embossing folder is just precious.

I used So Saffron cardstock and Tea for Two Designer Series Paper.  The white scalloped edge comes from the Tasteful Trim Bigz Die – I've used this die on so many cards and scrapbooking pages – it's perfect for them – the strips are 12" long!!!  It's such a nice embellishment.

I used Pacific Point & Soft Suede ink for the tickets and added a rhinestone jewel to one of them.  The Calypso Coral ruffled ribbon adds that little pop that was needed.
