I love this background stamp – called Pleasant Poppies – it's got so many possibilities. I stamped it with VersaMark ink and embossed it with Black embossing powder…then just colored it in with the Melon Mambo marker. SUPER EASY. I used the 1-1/4" square punch layered on top of the scallop square punch for the perfect combination. Speaking of "perfect" – the Perfectly Penned greeting set was "perfect!"
If you look real close at the photo – you can also see that I stamped the poppies on the Crumb Cake layer with VersaMark ink too – it added an interesting background.
Stamps: Pleasant Poppies; Perfectly Penned Ink: VersaMark; Gumball Green Accessories: Square Scallop Punch; 1-1/4" Square Punch; Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon; Dimensionals Cardstock: Gumball Green; Melon Mambo; Crumb Cake; Whisper White
What a beautiful sight to wake up to – this was the view out the window of our hotel in Salt Lake City! It was an unusual day at convention for Linda and I…we woke up when ever we wanted…ate a leisurly breakfast and then headed to the Temple Square for a little sightseeing. No rushing around since our flight didn't depart until 5:30pm – YIPEE!!!
Here are some beautiful photos from the Temple Square…
This square is just beautiful!! I'll show you some more of our sightseeing tomorrow!
