This card is made with a watercolor technique – keep reading and make one of your own!!! I am in LOVE with these new stamps – You're Sublime set and Watercolor Wash Background stamp!
Supplies:
- Stamp Sets: You’re Sublime- (139309c 138732w); Watercolor Wash (139538c 138704w)
- Inks: Soft Sky (131181); Pacific Point, Real Red & Paper Pumpkin Stampin’ Write markers (Brights pack -131259); Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write marker (Neutrals pack 131261)
- Paper : Pacific Point (111350); Whisper White (100730)
- Tools & Accessories: Silver Metallic Thread (138402); Rhinestones Basics Pearls (119246); White Perfect Accents (138416); Tear & Tape Adhesive (138995); Stampin’ Spritzer (126185- filled with water)
Measurements:
Pacific Point: 5.5”x 8.5”
Whisper White: 5.25”x4”
Instructions:
- Ink up the Watercolor Wash background stamp with some Soft Sky ink and a bit of Pacific Point as well with a Stampin’ Write marker (from the Brights Stampin’ Write Marker pack).
- Spray the inked up stamp with a light mist of water before stamping it onto the Whisper White layer.
- Stamp the little submarine from You’re Sublime in Memento Black ink on layer and color it with a Smoky Slate marker.
- Add some color with a Real Red marker on the hearts and Pumpkin Pie marker on the fish.
- Before adhering the Whisper White layer to the card base, wrap some of the Silver Metallic Thread around it and use some Tear & Tape to secure it to the back of the layer – adhere it to the card.
- Add Rhinestone Basics Jewels to add some 'bubbles' coming from the sub.
- Add NEW White Perfect Accents to the submarine windows for some shiny little windows.
