Isn't this fun??? The HAPPY is actually DEBOSSED! What does that mean? Instead of being raised up the image is sunk in so you can stamp over it and the letters of the embossed image will stay white – HOLY COW!!! There are 2 folders in this series called CELEBRATIONS DUO TEXTURED IMPRESSIONS EMBOSSING FOLDERS on page 40 of the new Occasions Mini Catalog.
Stampin’ Up! Supplies:
- STAMPS – Happy Celebrations Photopolymer (143012)
- PAPER – Tempting Turquoise Cardstock (102067), Whisper White Cardstock (100730)
- INK – Tempting Turquoise (126952)
- OTHER – Big Shot Machine (143263), Big Shot Platform (142802), Celebrations Duo Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (142760), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), Fast Fuse Adhesive (129026), Standard Cutting Pads (113475), Stampin Pierce Mat (126199)
Cutting & Scoring:
- Whisper White Cardstock – 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score and fold at 4 1/4”, 3 3/4” x 5”
- Tempting Turquoise Cardstock – 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”
Instructions:
- Place the 3 3/4” x 5” whisper white cardstock lengthwise in the “HAPPY” embossing folder and run through Big Shot..
- Place the embossed whisper white cardstock on the Stampin Pierce Mat with HAPPY facing up.
- Ink the large blot stamp from the set then apply on the upper half of the word HAPPY, re-ink and apply to the bottom half of the word HAPPY.
- Ink the “BIRTHDAY TO YOU” stamp and apply to the bottom right corner of the embossed whisper white cardstock.
- Adhere embossed whisper white cardstock to the tempting turquoise using Fast Fuse Adhesive.
- Adhere the tempting turquoise to the whisper white card base using 4 Stampin Dimensionals (one in each corner).
