Cherry and Gold Silent Night Card
Supplies:
- Stamp Set: Wonderland #139752 (w), #140365 (c)
- Inks: Versamark #102283
- Paper: Cherry Cobbler #119685, Vellum Card Stock #101856
- Other: Gold Embossing Powder #109129, Heat Tool #129053, Gold Basic Metal Buttons #133763, Metallic Gold Bakers Twine #132975, Glue Dots #103683, Stampin’ Dimensionals #104430
Measurements: Card Base – Cherry Cobbler 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” folded to make a 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” card, Cherry Cobbler 4 x 5 1/4, Vellum Card Stock 1” x 4”, Bakers Twine 8”.
Instructions:
- Fold the Cherry Cobbler Card Base in half and crease with your Bone Folder. Set Aside.
- Ink the evergreen stamp image with Versamark ink and stamp 3 times across the bottom of the 4” x 5 1/4” piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock, re-inking between each impression.
- Ink the snowflakes stamp with Versamark ink and stamp in a random fashion above the trees, re-inking between each impression.
- Cover the stamped card stock piece with Gold Embossing Powder. Tap off the excess, use a small paintbrush if need be to remove the excess. Emboss with the Heat Tool.
- Attach the embossed card stock piece to the folded card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ink the Silent Night greeting stamp image with Versamark ink and stamp on the Vellum card stock, slight right of center.
- Cover with Gold Embossing Powder, tap off the excess and emboss with the Heat Tool.
- String the Gold Bakers Twine though the largest of the Gold Basics Buttons and tie off in a small bow. Attach to the left of the greeting on the Vellum Card Stock with Glue Dots.
- Attach the Vellum piece to the card front with Glue Dots behind the Button and the greeting so they will be hidden.
- Add your holiday greeting to the inside of the card and mail to someone special!
