Queen for a Day!

100_0612

When you're my hostess during Sale-A-Bration – you get to be QUEEN FOR A DAY!!!  How sweet are these paper flower pendants?  Would you feel special if you were wearing one?  YOU BET!  I made the red one using the Sending Love Designer Series Paper from last year…I'm still in love with that paper…and I think you can still get it on the Clearance Rack on my SU Website On-Line Store!!!!

The Paper Flower Pendant below is made with the NEW Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  It's so soft and pretty!  Don't you think the Trinket Crown is the perfect embellishment?

The idea for these flowers came from Kimberly Van Diepen – she demonstrated them in Nashville.  All you do is punch a circle from the 1 3/4" Circle Punch, smother it with Snail Adhesive and attach about 25 strips of DSP that's 4" x 1/4".  Once you have all those strips sticking out from your circle – you smother the circle with Snail again and bring the strips back so the ends meet – it's that simple!

Here are some of the products I used:

#121782 $9.95 Springtime Vintage DSP

#122268 $14.95 (Wood) or $122270 $11.95 (Clear) You're A Gem

  1. Hi Kelly,
I usually look at your cards but not specifically go into the blog but I did today because your announcement for the winner for your blog candy note reminded me.
I just added the Bold Blossom set to my order. You were exactly right it didn’t seem like much but the card you did was great.
Which happens with me a lot don’t care for it then see it made into a card and love it.
I will have to try and remember to look and comment on your blogs hahahah. It is fun to win something yeaaaa
