Reindeer in October?

YEP – I'm giving you reindeer in October! Isn't this stinkin' cute??? It's one of those Christmas cards that you can reproduce over and over with ease! I love the CANDY CANE LANE DESIGNER SERIES PAPER – such a fun assortment of Christmas patterns. And of course the COOKIE CUTTER CHRISTMAS stamp set and matching COOKIE CUTTER BUILDER PUNCH is the bomb!!!

Supplies – see below

Measurements:

Crumb Cake: 8 ½” x 5 ½” scrap for punching reindeer
Candy Cane Lane Designer Paper 4” x 4”
Real Red from Candy Cane Lane Twine pack

Instructions:

Place the 4” x 4” piece of designer paper at an angle in the Stampin’ Trimmer. Any angle will do but if you want to replicate this card exactly place the pattern you want to show up in the trimmer. Place one corner at 1” and another corner at 2 ½”. If your paper is directional (like the candy cane hearts above), place the top right corner on the 1” mark and the top left corner at the 2 ½” mark. Cut.

Adhere the diagonal pieces to the folded card base, leaving a space in the middle to stamp the greeting.
Stamp the greeting with Early Espresso ink.
Stamp the reindeer on a scrap of Crumb Cake in Early Espresso ink, and then punch it out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.
Color the reindeer’s nose in with the Real Red marker. Color the antlers and the inside of the ears with the Crumb Cake marker.
Thread a red Jingle bell on to the red twine. Tie a bow.
Attach the reindeer to the card with dimensionals.
Place a Glue Dot on the back of the jingle bell and adhere it under the reindeer’s chin.
Stamp an inside greeting.
Give this card to a friend and wish them Happy Holidays!
