So SAD

As most of you know…I lost my dad last week.  He was a GREAT man. Our family is incredibly close. My heart breaks at losing him, but telling my baby was the worst thing I've ever had to do…the most heart wrenching experience I've ever gone through. They were sooooo tight.  They shared the same birthday (July 1st), she adored him and he treated her like the most precious child that ever lived.  They were quite the pair.  She's away at college and trying to catch up after being off all last week.  I so wish I could be with her.  And then there's my mom – such an incredibly strong woman – she's been caring for my dad for the last several years with his declining health.  My family was so fortunate to have them both.  It's going to be very lonely for her.

Everyone always says – "if there's anything I can do."  Here's what you can do…please send my daughter cards of sympathy and encouragement.  She needs as much as she can get right now:

I'm not sure if this is appropriate…but people keep asking "If there's anything I can do" – place those orders…money is tight, sales are slow and gas is expensive.  My daughter needs me and my mom needs me and I'm looking at 536 miles roundtrip everytime I go get Hailey and head to my moms' house.  So if you've been thinking about that order…head to my website or email me to place it.
