Technique Tuesday – Northern Lights

 One of the super fun projects for tonight!!!!

 Here's a fun and easy card my Technique Tuesday stampers will enjoy making tonight – isn't it spectacular???  Technique Tuesday is the first Tuesday of each month in Menasha – join us!!!

Along with 2 other projects, you get to make an instruction card that you can keep for easy reference when you want to make this technique at home!

Supplies: 

• Stamps: Lovely as a Tree (128655-W 127793-C), Label Love (130619-W 130622-C)
• Paper : 

• 131202 Smokey Slate cardstock (5-1/4” x 4”, 2-3/4” x 4” & scrap)
• 131197 Blackberry Bliss cardstock (11” x 4-1/4” – scored at 2-3/4” & 5-1/2”)
• 107730 Whisper White

• Ink :  101406 StazOn Black, 126955 Daffodil Delight, 126952 Tempting Turquoise, 126950 Rich Razzleberry, 126970 Night of Navy
• Other :  113439 Big Shot, 127821 Woodgrain Folder, 129021 Window Frames Collection Framelits, 101610 Stamping Sponges, 130920 Artisan Label Punch, 133668 Blackberry Bliss 3/8” Stitched Satin Ribbon, 105021 White Gel Pen, 110755 Multipurpose Liquid Glue, 104430 Dimensionals

Instructions:

1. Fold the Blackberry Bliss card base in half and then fold back on the 2-3/4” score line
2. Emboss the 2-3/4” Smokey Slate cardstock layer with the Woodgrain Embossing folder – sponge lightly with Night of Navy ink – adhere to the folded back Blackberry Bliss card front
3. Tie with ribbon
4. Sponge the edges of 4” x 5-1/4” Smokey Slate layer – adhere to the inside of the card
5. Stamp and punch birthday greeting in Night of Navy ink with the Artisan Label Punch – adhere to card where shown with a Dimensional
6. Die cut Whisper White Window Frame – sponge Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry inks in vertical stripes on the white window layer
7. Stamp tree image with Black StazOn ink
8. Sponge Night of Navy ink on for the ground and around the outside edges
9. Lightly swipe the Navy sponge over the entire piece in vertical motions with a light touch
10. Add stars with a White Gel Pen – adhere layer to card front where shown with Liquid Glue
