FAUX TECHNIQUE CARD

Mint Macaron 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
Very Vanilla 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 front, 4 x 5-1/4 inside
Early Espresso 3-5/8 x 4-7/8

Directions:
- Place Very Vanilla front layer in Simply Scored and score on top and left side at 1″ increments
- Turn and score at 1″ increments again
- Folding each score line – sponge the edge with Crumb Cake ink until you have all score lines sponged as show on card front
- Stamp images
- Stamp two dragon flies on scrap vanilla card stock and cut out wings
- Adhere over the dragonflies on card front
- Add a pearl to the center of each dragonfly
- Stamp FRIEND border in Early Espresso ink on vanilla scrap – stamp FRIEND in Mint Macaron ink
- Die cut with framelit and sponge edges with Crumb Cake ink
- Add dimensions to each side on the back
- Add a little SNAIL (tape runner) to the center of this cutout and weave gold thread back and forth
- Apply to Early Espresso layer and then card front
- Stamp inside layer, sponge edges with Crumb Cake ink and adhere to inside of card

Cucumber Crush 4″ x 11″ – scored at 5-1/2″ & scraps

See All Supplies:
- Place one end of card base in oval framelit and cut off bottom as shown below – just run the frame lit into the Big Shot until the edge cuts and back it out
- Run the front of the card through the Decorative Dots embossing folder
- The eyes are made as follows: Sarhara Sand 1-1/2″; White White 1-1/4″; Basic Black pupils 1/2″ and 3/4″; Owl Builder Punch nostrils (the small circles); Bird Builder Punch eyebrows; 3/4″ circles for teeth; 1-3/4″ Scallop Punch for bite out of inside white layer
- Adhere all circles to the card front as shown in photo
- Sponge edges of eyebrows with Cucumber Crush ink – add to card front with Dimenisonals
- Stamp greeting on inside layer with Cucumber Crush ink
- Punch out corner with 1-3/4″ Scallop Punch to make it look like the dragon took a bite out of the corner

Rich Razzleberry 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 base, 4-1/2 x 2-2/8 scored at 1/2 & 2-1/2 easel base

Mossy Meadow 2-1/4 x 3-7/8

DIRECTIONS:
- Stamp the FRIENDS greeting in Mossy Meadow ink on the large white layer
- Stamp a butterfly above the greeting in Rich Razzleberry ink
- Fold over the 1/2″ end of the scored Rich Razzleberry layer and glue to back of the layer you stamped the greeting on about 1/4″ from the left edge
- Adhere this layer to card front
- Fold Rich Razzleberry on center score line and adhere Mossy Meadow layer ONLY putting glue or tape at the bottom of the Rich Razzleberry layer so you don’t glue your easel down
- Stamp flower image on small white layer by inking up in Rich Razzleberry and stamping off once to get a lighter image
- Stamp the oval flower accents at full strength Rich Razzleberry ink over top of flower
- Stamp stem and leaves in Mossy Meadow ink – notice that the stem is curved? Just manipulate it on your block to make this shape
- Adhere flower layer to easel layer and tie with ribbon
- Add rhinestone to little butterfly
