Adding a blue star to my folders is going to save me a lot of frustration! I'm happy I found a way to identify which embossing folders to use the new 3D Embossing Plate with – now I won't be scratching my head in a few months.
I purchases these stickers at my local Walgreens store – any blue sticker will work for this.
Here's a sneak peek at two new embossing folders! The HAMMERED METAL on the left and the WINTER KNIT on the right. Both of these will be available starting September 4th in the new Holiday Mini Catalog.

Kelly why is it when I watch your videos from your blog you are so far to the right out of frame that I can’t see what you are doing? I have tried everything to try to correct the problem. You always share such great tips and always enjoy your jokes. Lol. So thank you for giving me something to chuckle about on what sometimes isn’t the greatest of days.
Cute joke Kelly, tho in reality I wouldnt have a Kangaroo get up so close and personal, lol. With the 3D embossing folders, do you know when the tufted one will be available?
Not to confuse you but if you have the embossing mats ( The thin blue mat, the thicker gray mat, and the stiff white mat) you don’t need to buy the new blue plate. You can use both the blue mat and the gray mat with one clear cutting plate and your standard base with the thin die adaptor. It makes up the difference of the new blue plate.

While watching the video, I note that some of the embossing folders you used in your demonstration appeared to be wider than others, and I am just wondering if ALL embossing folders in the catalog can be used in the older Big Shot?
