When my grandson Billy and I entered our vacation cabin, we kept the lights off until we were inside to keep from attracting pesky insects. Still, a few fireflies followed us in. Noticing them before I did, Billy whispered, "It's no use Grandpa. Now the mosquitoes are coming after us with flashlights."

Thank you Kelly for this useful information about Stazon and giving us crafters TOP TIPs. TFS :O) xxx
Great tip and even greater joke, LOL.
Good informative – and necessary – tip video. I have a couple questions/comments. I was lucky enough to get my stamparatus on the first go-around (remember when we could reorder for a 12-hour period last summer, but they all sold out in about 20 minutes??) Since so few of us had them back then, there was not that much information on blogs, etc. But I do remember someone saying NEVER use Stayz-on cleaner on them – it may “etch” the plates. I got so anxious that I have used only damp cloths on mine or mild dish-washing soapy water. I even worried about using baby-wipes – maybe some have chemicals that would cause the plates to become cloudy. So I am glad to have your take on cleaning techniques. But is there any chance that alcohol will eventually cause them to become cloudy?? As a further precaution – I always use the side of the plate that does not have the etched grid on it first, thinking I am sparing the plate from getting ink down into the etched lines. Of course, when I need to use >2 stamps on a project, I do need to use all side of the plates, but I am aware of potential problems. Thank you for your terrific videos, ideas, and trying out different things so you can advise/warn us about what works and what may not. And loved the joke-of-the-day – we had a cabin in northern Minnesota when I was growing up, so I could really relate!!
Kelly, I thought Stampin Up recommended NOT to use Stazon cleaner on the poly stamps? I was under the impression it would damage the poly Stamps.
