I love a LITTLE ROCK & ROLL! The ROCK STAR bundle is perfect for your rock & roll friends and family. Most of you know that my step-daugher Stephanie is the lead singer in a band called The Dwellers. Her youngest is an amazing guitar player in a band – Porter actually got to play at SUMMER FEST in Milwaukee last summer – he’s only 16! OH MY GOSH! We are so proud of both of them!
I absolutely love black and white designer series paper because you have so many options to use it as is or modify it and make it any color you want. This card is easy and so much fun! I love the GIANT guitar pick! This is the first card in the FREE card kit this week:
I used SWEET SORBET – one of the 2022-2024 In Colors that’s RETIRING!
This photos shows that fabulous MERRY MELODY 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER – a perfect design for this card. The SELF-ADHESIVE LIGHTNING & STARS embellishments are so perfect. You get a FREE pack of them with your card kit when your order is over $75.
This card is Coastal Cabana and I modified the guitar patterned DSP with Smoky Slate Ink and the new STAMPIN’ BRAYER. My guitar was stamped on the SOFTLY STIPPLED DSP patterned paper that looks like linen fabric. I colored in the center of the guitar with the Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blend Marker and a little WINK OF STELLA.
I think the BASIC BLACK STAMPIN’ WRITE MARKER adds a little GRUNGE to my card – what you do think?
Starry Sky is another 2022-2024 In Color that’s retiring – sad! Such a bright and cheerful color!
Here’s all the retiring colors. I really recommend you stock up on the cardstock, ink refills and ink pads if you want them NOW. Once they announce their retirement in April – they will sell out fast. Don’t forget the matching markers too – they are always nice to have.
