Welcome to the IT'S A PAPER PUMPKIN THING blog hop for December featuring the BEARY COMFORTING kit. I made two alternate projects with this kit – so adorable!
My first alternate project uses the adorable koala's – I've heard they are not suppose to be called bears – they are MARSUPIALS! Glad we have that cleared up – LOL! I used the Little Details Embossing Folder on the Gold Foil layer under the Koala's for some fun texture.
I am sending this out with a little desktop calendar on it. You can get these at www.vippies.com – I like the LARGE ones. Add a layer of Rich Razzleberry under the calendar for a mat and to make it pop a little bit. The Rich Razzleberry card base is 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2". The easel on the inside is 4 1/4" x 3" scored at 1/2", 1 1/2" & 2 1/2". This will hold the card together so it will stand up for an entire year! I thought the Forever Greenery gold twine was perfect and tied a bow with it to attache to the middle of the bottom heart. The #HANDMADE stamp is from a brand new set coming out Jan 5th called HANDMADE FOR YOU.
And my 2nd project is just an adorable card. I used the Gold Foil Sheets again for the strip behind the die cut circle.
A little bow with the gold twine from the Forever Greenery twine is perfect right?
