This first alternate idea card was so simple but I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I used Soft Suede cardstock and ink to stamp up the gingerbread houses and flourishes. A 1/2" strip of Whisper White with Real Red ink and a 5/8" strip of Real Red to go behind it. I added the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals. The Playful Pets Ribbon Combo Pack was the perfect choice to go along with this card.
I used the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder for my 4" x 5 1/4" Cinnamon Cider layer. And the inside of the little envelope worked well for my striped strip – cut at 1". Aren't those little candy stickers are adorable right?
And my alternate ideas wouldn't be complete without a little treat box! I glued two gift card holders together and add a 3 1/4" x 2 1/4" Cinnamon Cider panel to the bottom. Just score each end on the long side at 1/2" and glue in place. The Mosaic Cello Treat Bags and Playful Pets Ribbon worked perfect!
