Welcome to the April Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop. We are featuring alternate ideas with the MY WONDERFUL FAMILY kit this month. I love the sentiments and find that they are HIGHLY appropriate with what's going on in the world right now…and the TREE & BUTTERFLY designs are adorable!!! My first alternate card is so simple. I thought the LAYERED LEAVES 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER was a perfect pattern to go with the die cut leaves in the kit – this embossing folder is retiring. The STITCHED SHAPES DIES and the LAYERING CIRCLES DIES were a great choice for the sentiment. I stamped that in Shaded Spruce ink and the little butterflies in Pear Pizazz ink.
I used the sentiment layer from the kit for the inside – IT SAYS IT ALL!
Dimensions:
- Pear Pizzaz 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- Whisper White 4" x 5 1/4" & scrap
- Shaded Spruce scrap
This is a fun fold – super easy and quick. I embossed the Crushed Curry layer in the Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder – that is retiring! I used Early Espresso and Crushed Curry along with the Pear Pizzaz ink that comes with this kit. Don't you love those little colored pearls?
And the font on that inside sentiment – delicious!
