How Stinkin' Cute is this???? I just took a Starbucks Frappuccino container and covered it with cardstock, a little stamping and some fabulous Holiday Lounge Designer Paper! I didn't even drink that stuff – I hate coffee – so my recipients will be getting it!!! LOL! this gift is for my sister…so I'm going to fill the paint can with her favorite cookies..that I will make tomorrow – of course!
Frappuccino Box helper:
HANDLE: Cut layer to cover handle 4 7/8" x 9" (score in half at 4 1/2"). Fold over handle area and mark with a pencil to find where you need to punch with the Large Oval punch. Trace the other side and punch through that too. Adhere to box with Sticky Strip.
BOX: Front – cut 11" x 4 – score at 3" & 8" Back – cut 10 1/2" x 4" – score at 2 3/4" & 7 3/4" Adhere the back to the box with Sticky Strip first. Then the front, overlapping at the sides. Decorate as desired.
Bottles – I wrapped the metal lids with a piece of DSP measuring 3/16" x 6 1/8" – adhere the ends with Sticky Strip. Wrap a piece of DSP around the bottle neck measuring 3/4" x 6 1/4" – again securing the ends with Sticky Strip.
Bottle Tops – I used the 1 3/4" Circle punch and adhered the circle to the bottle top with a 1" piece of Sticky Strip right in the middle of each. Adhere a Large Snowflake punch to each too.
This was all VERY simple! How cute and an incredibly affordable gift!
Here's another one that my friend and fellow demo, Rachael made:
And now for the paint can…I like to write everything down as I'm making it. I usually make more than one and I hate the whole "guessing" part. So – here's a little help with a standard gallon paint can. You can buy these, unused, at any home improvement store. I like to buy the paint can opener and tie it to the handle, decorated with ribbon too! This is a SUPER cute accent. I don't happen to have any on hand…and very little time to be messing with this…so…
Paint Can Helper:
Cut 2 pieces of Designer Paper 10" x 7 7/16". Punch half of a 1" hole with your circle punch 1/2" from the top. That's where your 1" circle should start – 1/2" from the top. Do this on both pieces on both edges. Cut a 5 3/8" circle using your Circle Scissors Plus circle cutter and WAAA LAAA!
I am having so much fun…almost makes me want about another week before the BIG DAY…but then I come back to my senses!!! LOL! I have 3 swaps to complete and I have to get ready for my trip to Phoenix for the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference and Regional Convention in less than 2 weeks!!!!
Thanks for stopping by….
