Cards for our Troops!!!!

CALLING ALL CARD MAKERS!!!!

From Our Hearts was started by a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in response to her son in the military who asked for a dozen handmade cards so he could mail them back home to his wife and children. It is non-profit, relies entirely on donations, and will remain in existence
until the very last soldier has returned home from this war.

As of November 30, www.fromourhearts.info has mailed 82,409 handmade greeting cards to our military in Iraq and Afghanistan this year alone. These cards go to the Chaplains at many military bases and are offered at no charge to the soldiers for them to send to their loved ones back home. They are very much appreciated by both the sender and the receiver. (Normally, military bases have very plain, generic printed cards – if that.)

Presently, they are very much in need of ♥VALENTINES ♥ for mailing out to the military bases on January 2.

Please find it in your heart to create one or more Valentines and drop them off at my home or mail them to me (738 Depere St, Menasha WI 54952) before December 8th, and my demonstrator – Doris Fryman will ship them to this organization the next day.

This organization also accepts monetary donations for their mailing costs, so – if you prefer – make a check out to From Our Hearts and I’ll include it with the cards. (You can also donate through PayPal online.)

Please create simple, well done Valentines (no glitter or scents allowed!) with ‘flat’ embellishments for anyone – wife, husband, mother, father, son, daughter, brother, sister, or friend.
