WOW – down to the wire and I had to whip up some cash holders yesterday…before we headed south to celebrate Christmas with my step-daughters! So here's what I came up with….NO…we didn't give them a $1 bill silly…they each got $100 from their dad!
Directions: Fold on score lines. The smallest panel is the front – that's where I put the white scalloped edge piece. Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 6 5/8" x 1 1/4" and punch with the scallop edge punch. Add some ribbon and decorate with ornaments from the Delightful Decorations stamp set. I punched out a 1 1/4" circle for the face of the money on the inside and used the Christmas Punch stamp set with the Wide Oval punch. Use Sticky Strip tape to seal the edges of the money pocket.
These fit perfectly inside a Small Open End Envelope (Item #107286) too. WAA LAAA!!!!! Super fast and simple!
I made the money holders at 3:45pm….leaving at 4 pm for the big event. You guys know how I operate – LOL!

This is what I did prior to my money holders…..I was baking from 3pm on Friday til 1:00 in the morning – then hit it again a 10 am until I hit the stampin' dungeon for the money holders. Oh yea…I showered someplace in there too!
I went CRAZY!!!! Here's some strawberry jam that I made for each of the kids and their families…they LOVED it!
Turtles…with my homemade carmel! some were cashews and some were dry roasted peanuts – to DIE FOR….

Kelly, everything looks so yummy! I’d love to have recipe for the salty nuts – whatever it was called. I’m the same way – I’d rather bake than cook. LOL TFS
Kelly,

Yum! I want to come to your house for Christmas! It all looks so delicious!
Oooh, I make homemade caramels too, but I love the decorative way you wrapped yours. What did you use? I use regular waxed paper. Nancy
I just found your site from 001StampArtist and would love to have the recipe for the salted nut drops too please. I usually spend a couple days baking for the holidays too but with kids all grown it’s harder to get in the mood.Love your blog.
