Oh my goodness! Aren't these cute? I love to make a matching set of goodies when I'm making cards and this one makes me happy! The GNOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS is so charming and gnomes are all the rage right now. Have you seen the cute Christmas decorations online? ADORABLE!
This card is quick and easy to make. The HEARTWARMING HUGS designer series paper is one of those classics that make card making easy. I like using these small prints for backgrounds and the classic holiday colors make it easy.
Dimensions:
- Pear Pizzazz 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- Whisper White 2 @ 4" x 5 1/4" & scrap
- Heartwarming Hugs 3 3/4" x 5" & 3/4" x 5 1/4"
- Real Red 3" x 3 3/4"
- Crumb Cake 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
And who doesn't love a pop up box??? They are seriously so easy to make. Just a little strip of WINDOW SHEET and Mini Glue Dots and you have a fun little pop up.
Dimensions:
- Box – Pear Pizzazz 3 1/8" x 4 5/8" scored at 3/4" on all four sides.
- Box Insert – Pear Pizazz 1 5/8" x 3 1/16"
- Outside Band – Real Red 3 1/8" x 5 5/8" scored on long side at 3/4", 2 7/16", 3 3/16" & 4 7/8"
- Heartwarming Hugs DSP 2 3/4" x 5 5/8"
I used Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers to color my gnomes – Real Red, Old Olive, Ivory & Daffodil Delight.
Here's the back of the gnome – showing the Window Sheet strip and glue dots. Just fold and burnish the fold on a 3/4" strip and you have yourself a super fun pop up!
Don't forget to make some type of a pull for the box to slide out of the outside band. I used the Real Red Braided Linen Trim.
