I’m sharing a brand NEW TO ME technique today! The name is in the title above. It’s really easy and creates such a beautiful layer! You’ll find all the details and tips on how to do it here:
It starts with a 3D embossing folder – I used the LAYERED FLORALS Embossing Folder. On the indented side (debossed) you color with Stampin’ Blends (alcohol markers). You do not have to be real careful about staying in the “lines.”
After coloring in the leaves & flowers you’ll drag a Memento Black in pad across the entire layer until you turn everything except the flowers black.
WOW right?
Here’s my completed card! The sentiment is from HAPPY LITTLE THINGS, the flower is from the PETAL PARK BUILDER PUNCH and the Pretty In Pink layer is embossed with the EYELET 3D Embossing Folder – I added it to the little strip on the inside too.
Dimensions:
- Basic White Thick — 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
- Pretty in Pink — 4″ x 5 1/4″, 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ (front) & 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ (embossed for inside)
- Basic White — 3″ x 4″, 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ (technique layer) & scrap
