Today I’m sharing a NEW TO ME technique with embossing folders. It’s a DOUBLE embossing technique where you use two different folders on the same layer – WOW! I love it!
All you need is an embossing folder with a subtle pattern and another one with a more detailed pattern. You want to use the subtle pattern on your cardstock layer first and then put the layer in the more detailed embossing folder to create the double pattern. Mix and match – the skies the limit on making some really fun patterns!

Here is the card I made for my ONLINE TECHNIQUE CLUB. I used the FOREVER PLAID 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER first and then the CHANGING LEAVES 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER to create this fun texture for my fall card:
