My first card tonight started with a SKETCH – see the card on the left. I love to design based on a sketch to get my creativity flowing. These are the types of sketches we share on the STAMP HAPPY ACADEMY website. You’ll find it HERE.

Here are several cards using different patterns of the OTTERLY ADORABLE DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. The last card uses a die cut circle from the DSP instead of the stamped and colored image of the otter. Just a different take on the same layout. The PECAN PIE STAMPIN’ BLEND MARKERS are the perfect color for the otters.

I love a good technique and I thought this one was one of the easiest! Imagine all the different color combinations! If you don’t have rectangle dies to cut out the center of your template – you can just cut 5/8″ off all four edges to cut out your template window. Use BLENDING BRUSHES to add color to the plain Basic White front cardstock layer and then emboss. I used the brand new HAPPY HIBISCUS HYBRID EMBOSSING FOLDER – so dramatic and pretty!

- Flirty Flamingo — 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ & scrap
- Petal Pink — 4″ x 5 1/4″ & scrap
- Basic White 3 3/4″ x 5″ & scrap
