The new SPRINGTIME FOIL SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER is amazing!!! I made a bunch of super pretty cards for my Facebook Live on Sunday. The new technique using STAMPIN' BLENDS alcohol markers with a DIRECT TO PAPER technique is so cool!

The copper polka dots are so pretty with this faux frame made with the STITCHED FRAMELITS and LAYERING CIRCLE FRAMELITS.

For this card I colored in the leaves and sponged over them with Elegant Eggplant for a resist technique:
Dimensions:
- Striped layer 2" x 4"
- Leaf layer 3-1/4" x 4"
And here are the STAMPIN' BLEND RESIST with a "direct to paper" application of Memento Black ink – super cool!

- Copper layer 4" x 5-1/4"
- Designer Series Paper layer 3-3/4" x 5"

Just watched your FB live from Sunday–your projects are amazing! and I’m glad to learn those new techniques for use on the Springtime Foils w/Stampin Blends. I want to follow those videos but will do it after Sunday. I will also share your videos 🙂
This is a really cool technique but for some reason when I did it some of the black covered the lighter green of my leaves. Maybe I need to wait a little bit before I add the memento?

Kelly, your cards with the colored flowers followed by the black ink overall inspired me to try something a little different (since I didn’t get that wonderful foil paper). I stamped some flowers with Versamark on Yupo paper and embossed them in black. I colored them with my Copic markers and then rubbed black dye ink over everything. The ink turned the background a lovely pale gray without affecting the alcohol inks. Thanks for the inspiration!
