I hope you love this set of cards as much as I do! It was so fun and easy to make. The COLOR & CONTOUR BUNDLE has some line are that has a whimsical feel with some fabulous fonts with the sentiments. I paired it up with the HAND-PENNED DESIGNER SERIES PAPER – so pretty!!!
These cards are so easy aren't they? The paper does almost all the work!
Card Dimensions:
- Card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" & scrap
- Basic Black 3 1/4" x 5 1/2"
- Hand-Penned DSP 3" x 5 1/2"
I recommend you make this box with some scrap cardstock just to get the hang of it – before you bring out your TOP SHELF stuff *wink wink!
What a pretty gift right? I chose my colors based on the Hand-Penned DSP coordinating colors listed. I used the same ink and cardstock colors – So Saffron ink and So Saffron cardstock, etc.
For the box you'll need to cut and score your cardstock as shown below.
2 pieces @ 7” x 5 3/4” (front) – With the 5 3/4" side at the top – score at 1" on the left & bottom of the left piece and the right & bottom of the right piece. Cut from score line to score line at a diagonal as shown.
1 piece @ 7” x 6 3/4” (back) – with 6 3/4" side at the top – score at 1" on the left, right and bottom. Cut at tabs and create box back.
1 piece DSP @ 2" x 12”
The finished box size is 6" x 4 3/4" x 1" – prefect to hold 7-8 cards and envelopes!
