Feeling a little "Fallish" today!

This card reminds me of fall…and because it's feeling a little "fallish" this morning – it was perfect for sharing. NO – I'm not ready for fall yet…I could use another 2 months of summer…it's my FAVORITE season!

LIFE UPDATE: Lots going on around here…

I started on my new stamp room…URGH! I was one hurtin' unit after I spent 10 hours destroying my new room. I have all the wood (or in my case plastic) molding removed, 3/4 of the carpet/pad and staples out of the floor, and the spackling done for all the little holes (and a few big ones too). I'll make sure I share photos of my progress very soon. I'm so excited….I have the new flooring already, have chosen my paint colors (yes – I said "colors") and my countertops are ordered for my table and a little cabinet.
Hailey has been super busy getting ready for her SENIOR year and the football season that started last night. Sad to say – we lost – but it was a lot of fun. So glad the season is upon us – I love watching the boys play and the girls are the best fans in the state! Check out these crazy heads!!! Hailey came up with this idea – that's her 2nd to the last head on the left. They sure love their football players!!!

Steve had surgery on his knee yesterday – torn miniscus (sp?). He's doing pretty good. He spent the entire day lounging by the pool. He even went to the football game last night!!! He also ran into his surgeon and thought he was gonna get his butt chewed…but Dr. Kuplic said if he felt good enough to be there – that was GREAT!

Are you sitting down…I don't want anyone to fall over when I tell you this next part….Here's the breakfast I made for him this morning!!! HOLY COW! Fit for a king! Now I have to confess…the T-bone steak was grilled on Friday night – so I just heated it up…and the American Fries was a baked potato from that same grilling session…but it looks pretty impressive right???
