Who wouldn't love a beautiful candle to go with a gorgeous fall? The French Foliage stamp set in the Holiday Mini Catalog is my all-time favorite…I just can't resist beautiful leaves! What a wonderful gift…all for about $3.50 – maybe for my next workshop hostess!!!
Making beautiful candles with rubber stamps is so easy. I used a 6" vanilla pillar candle, tissue paper, heat tool and a few embellishments…all you do is stamp your tissue paper, wrap it around your candle and heat it with your Heat Tool.
I think the leather cord goes along with the outdoorsy feel of the candle. I got the idea for my embellishments from a candle in my laundry room. It's from Pier 1 Imports – it has a leather cord with a metal charm…pretty similar. I made my own jump ring by wrapping copper wire around a pencil, sliding it off and cutting it with my Craft & Rubber Scissors. Those babies will cut just about anything – they've never let me down.
My October stamp clubs will enjoy making one of these – WHOO HOO!!!
And who can resist that Decorative Label punch???
