And now for a little Halloween fun….Here's an adorable treat holder I made for Hailey.  I'm headed to Madison this weekend – it's a BIG TEN football game, homecoming for the Badgers and Halloween weekend – HOLY COW!  Can't wait to show you our RED TOGAS!!!

The treat holder made out of the embellishment containers that our buttons and brads come in.  You take the top and bottom and adhere a strip of designer paper to the edge – use the 2-1/2" Circle Punch for the top and bottow – it fits perfect!!!  Notice that the bottom of my treat holder is smaller – that's actually the lid of the embellishment container and the treat holder top is the bottom of the container.

I used Snail adhesive on the designer paper for the edges and then overlapped them a little bit – on that over lap – I used our liquid glue.  If you only use Snail – they will pop apart at the overlap.  I've seen some people use Sticky Strip – I tried that – and you know how unforgiving that stuff is….my way is a lot easier. Then you take an acetate sheet 9-1/2" x 3" and adhere it in the lid and bottom – when you wrap it around – use Mini Glue Dots on the acetate overlap.

Here's a Christmas treat holder that I received from Jill Olsen at Founder's Circle…LOVE the use of the Make-A-Mitten stamp set and matching punch!!!  And 1/4" Sweater Trim is just perfect for the pom-pom and strings on the mittens!!!
