Grid Technique Card

I was busy today preparing for my Technique Class on Wednesday…and this is one of the techniques we'll be learning.  The photo really doesn't do it justice!  I sprayed the card with Gold Shimmer Paint and the sparkle is sooooooooo pretty!

Here's how I did it…take a piece of cardstock (mine is 3 x 4) and place it in your paper cutter, angled like shown below, up to the 1/2" mark and score.

I drew lines on the one shown below so you can see them – just keep moving your cardstock over a 1/2" at a time and scoring your lines.  Make sure you keep your score lines lined up with the lines on your paper cutter – shown by the arrows below.

Turn your cardstock the opposite way and keep scoring - like shown below – again, keeping the score lines lined up with the lines on paper cutter – shown by the arrows.

Here's the layer – ready for stamping! I sponged in with ink to help show the grid lines.

And WAAA LAAA!  Stamp your images, sponge the edges, put your card together and mist it with Gold Shimmer Mist!!!
