2-Tags Gift Card Holder

Here's another great idea for a gift card holder!!!  You'll be able to make one of these if you come to the CARD:SCRAP BUFFET on Saturday!!!  I used the Two Tags Die – a die that I have used for soooo many projects.  This is an excellent addition to your Big Shot dies if you don't have it yet (GASP!).

I made the pocket by taking a piece of Very Vanilla 6-1/8 x 4-1/4 and scoring it 1-5/8" from each edge on 6-1/8 side.  Fold on the score lines and use Liquid Glue on the back and bottom of your pocket – I like this better than Sticky Strip for a couple reasons:
  • It is more forgiving – you can slide your piece if you don't get it perfectly placed when you adhere your pieces together – you can't do that with Sticky Strip; and
  • You can run a very fine line of glue vs. a 1/4" of the Sticky Strip…which takes up alot of room on your edges
Here's the front of the insert….

The tinsel trim I used is retired…sorry!  But you can use any type of ribbon or the 1/4" sweater trim in the Holiday catalog would be perfect!  You can find it on page 11.
And here's the back of the insert.  I used Mini Glue Dots to attach my gift card…
