One Layer Cards...WHAT?

Welcome to the JUNE Totally Techniques Blog Hop! We are featuring a technique where we create cards using one layer! WOW – definitely challenging!

The EVERYDAY ARCHES DIES are perfect for a ONE LAYER card! Big or small – I like them all. I used Daffodil Delight and Lost Lagoon Inks for these – featuring the PRAIRIE GRASS stamp set, a brand new set coming out July 1st in our new line of ONLINE EXCLUSIVE products. You’ll find all of the new items in my ONLINE STORE on Tuesday, July 1st. I die cut the 2nd from largest arch die from a piece of printer weight paper and used the die cut arch and the leftover piece to create masks allowing me to add ink to my card front with a BLENDING BRUSH.

For these cards I used the negative layer after I die cut the arch out of the center to mask my card fronts to create a frame for the image and sentiment. Again using Lost Lagoon and Daffodil Delight Inks.

And last but not least – I used the 5th from smallest arch die to create this card with Petal Pink, Pool Party and Fresh Freesia Inks.
