Welcome to the August ONE STAMP AT A TIME blog hop. Today we are featuring cards and 3-D projects with an end of summer theme. I don't want summer to end and I'm pretty sure we have a long ways to go here in Wisconsin before it's over – WHEW! We'll see right? I made a pretty beach scene for my card with the FRIEND LIKE YOU stamp set – perfect little palm trees!
I have a step-by-step tutorial showing how I used a masking technique to create the sunset:

And I repurposed the little candy container – by adding the ENJOY layer to the front I have a matching gift box!
Here's the inside of the card. You could certainly add a greeting if you want – but I thought I'd leave it open so I can add a personalized message.

- Early Espresso 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
- Whisper White 3 3/4" x 5" & 4" x 5 1/4"
I'm so happy that I had 2 of these boxes below – this little box is from the June Paper Pumpkin kit and you'll find a link to the video showing you how I made it down below. By making a label for the front – it's the perfect little treat to accompany my card.
