Welcome to the February One Stamp At A Time blog hop featuring projects that won't break your heart! I promise!!! There's 22 of us in this hop so you should FEEL THE LOVE by the time you scroll though all these blogs. Each one will feature a card and 3-D project.
I came up with this GOR-JEE-OUS shaker card using the new GOLD GLITTER FLAKES and an adorable little box that was the perfect fit for some chocolate hearts. The designer series paper in the PAINTED WITH LOVE SUITE is absolutely delicious! This suite is featured on pages 18-19 in the Occasions Mini Catalog. You'll find that catalog in the right column on my blog. If you don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like a hard copy of our catalogs – just pop me an email: kelly@AStampAbove.com and I'd be happy to mail them to you.
I have a video that will show you some great tips on making the shaker card and also give you a step-by-step for the cute little box here:
If the video doesn't play – click HERE to watch it on my blog.
Here's a close up of the shaker – I love love love the GOLD GLITTER FLAKES! And who doesn't love a card that they can shake?
Here's the inside of my card – I used 1/2" strips of the DSP for the top and bottom to jazz it up a bit!
Dimensions:
- Rich Razzleberry 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" & 3-1/8" x 3-5/8"
- Whisper White 3" x 3-1/2" & 4" x 5-1/4"
- Painted Love DSP 3-3/4" x 5" & 2 @ 1/2" x 4"
- Window Sheet 2-7/8" x 3-3/8"
- Gold Foil 4" x 5-1/4"
And the box opened….
And closed….
Dimensions:
- Painted Love DSP 4-1/2" x 7" – die cut and score at 2-1/8" & 2-3/4" from the bottom

Thanks for stopping by…

This box and shaker card are so cute! Question, can a gift card fit in that little box you made today? Thank you for your great videos and ideas! I look everyday to see what you’ve made! Julie
Awesome! Love all that gold with the pinks!
I love love love this shaker card and little box! Thanks so much for sharing. I will be making a few of these for my BFF’s.
Wow Kelly, if everyone else’s projects are as good as yours I will be watching video tutorials all day long! I always seem to shy away from shaker cards because the bits either fall out or the end up stuck to the acetate due to the static. But I will have a go again after watching you make yours because I feel a little more confident now but I will follow you step by step on the video tutorial just to make sure. Thanks Kelly, :O)
These are gorgeous! Love that little treat box & I love that you gold heat embossed on purple! xx
Absolutely love watching your videos. You explain every step so clearly and your laugh is contagious. I find if I swipe my embossing buddy around the edge of my glue strip, my sprinkles don’t stick. I then wipe the acetate to remove any of the embossing powder and then add the sprinkles. Look forward to your next video, Kelly!
