Party Favors!

How stinkin' cute are these????  OK – so I had this brainstorm late last night.  I had to go to Hobby Lobby this morning to drop off my class bulletin board…which should have been there last Wednesday..but that's another story!  Anyways, last night as I finished my "Cards for Kids" cards – I thought up the idea of making some Valentine party favors for my Computer Training Downline meeting today.  So I picked up some cute suckers, M&M's and floral foam.  Rushed home and the cardstock started flying!!!

Do you want the directions to this SUPER SIMPLE box?  OF COURSE YOU SILLY WOMAN!!!!

  1. First I cut my floral foam – it came in a block that was 2 1/2" wide – so I cut it at 2 1/2" and had a 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" block.
  2. Real Red Cardstock cut 7" x 10 1/2"
  3. Score with the 7" edge at the top of your paper cutter – at 2 1/2"

  4. Turn your cardstock and score with the 10 1/2" edge at the top of your paper cutter – at 2 1/2", 5", 7 1/2" and 10"
  5. Cut where shown in the photo below – apply a little Sticky Strip to the 1/2" tab and WAAAA LAAAA!!!  Embellish as desired!
  6. Insert the floral foam in your box and cut a piece of cardstock 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" to cover the foam.  I punched some holes in the cardstock so I could insert the sucker sticks.

I also made the little cards with the Heart Shaped Sweet Treat Cups.  I punched various shaped hearts from the Sending Love Designer Paper and sprinkled them all over the table too!  All these items made our table a little more festive!  We drew names and the winners took them home!!!!

And of course – I had to take a photo!
