I had a little time last week to play with two amazing stamp sets….MERRY CAFE meets PICK A PUMPKIN! I have to tell you – WE HAD A BLAST! The Pick a Pumpkin is so fun – I stamped and die cut images and then I just die cut images from the PAINTED AUTUMN DESIGNER SERIES PAPER and started mixing and matching images until I decided to glue them down! Having a bunch of pieces at my fingertips really made the creative process come together fast. I made two cards (can't wait to show you the other one) – and here's the first one:
The splatter in the background is created when you use your markers to FLICK at the cardstock. I used Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie markers. You can find this technique in the video below at about 9:30. And I used my Aqua Painter and Crumb Cake ink to create the ground under my pumpkins and cup.
A little more Designer Series Paper for the inside and I added a die cut because…well I had a bunch of them all die cut and ready!
