Here's some creative inspiration – these HAT BUILDER DIES are on sale next week and they are so much fun! Great for teenagers and man cards!!!
Stampin’ Up! Supplies:
- STAMPS – Sweet Ice Cream (158224)
- PAPER – Basic White (159276), Basic Black (121045), Black Glitter Paper (153518), Silver Foil Specialty Pack (156457)
- INK – Polished Pink (155712)
- OTHER – Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Hat Builder Dies (155964) – ON SALE, Encircled in Beauty Dies (155546) – ON SALE, Star-Crossed Embossing Folder (156567), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813); Mini Glue Dots (103683), 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (155571), Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon (155714), Blending Brushes (153611), Paper Trimmer (152392)
Cutting & Scoring:
- Basic Black – 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, score at 4 1/4”
- Basic White – 2 pieces at 4” x 5”, scrap 3 1/2” x 1”
- Polished Pink Ribbon – 12” piece
Instructions:
- Emboss one of the Basic White pieces with the Star-Crossed Embossing Folder. Use the Blending Brushes to ink the embossing with Polished Pink. Add it to the Basic Black card base with the Stampin’ Seal Adhesive.
- Die cut the larger solid circle from Encircled in Beauty Die Set in the lightest Silver Foil. Use Mini Glue Dots to attach the ribbon on Star-Crossed embossing piece diagonally as shown. Attach the circle die cut over the ribbon in center of card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal.
- Die cut the large hat in the Hat Builder Die Set from the Black Glitter Paper. Attach to the silver circle with Stampin’ Seal.
- Die cut the star from the Hat Builder Die Set and the logo background from Basic Black. Attach to hat with Mini Glue Dots. Place a Polished Pink Jewel in the center of the star.
- Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set on the scrap of Basic White in Polished Pink ink. Fussy cut around the sentiment. Attach to the upper left hand side of the card on the diagonal as shown using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Attach the last Basic White piece to the inside of the card. Stamp “You’re So Cool” in the center.
- Enjoy!
