I was inspired to join the Stampin' 411 Sketch Challenge. Sketch challenges can be so inspiring and I thought this one was a perfect layout for one of the cards we'll be making at my Hobby Lobby (Oshkosh) and Omro Technique classes next Wednesday!
Here's what I came up with….the image is from the Elements of Style (a brand NEW set coming to you soon) stamp set. I used bleach as my medium instead of ink. Bleach is always fun to stamp with. You get so many different colors based on the cardstock you use. When I stamped the bleach image on Taken with Teal cardstock – it turned a green color that looked alot like our Gable Green.
Take out a bunch of scraps and stamp bleach on them to see what color your cardstock will turn…then just accent your card with a color that comes close. It's super fun to see all the different combinations!
Here's what I came up with….the black cardstock has a super mellow look, while the Elegant Eggplant turned "almost" an Almost Amethyst color….
BLEACH TIP: I always wondered why my bleach didn't work so good after a short period of time….bleach keeps it's "bleaching" power for about 48 hours and then you have to buy new bleach.
Ingredients Stamps: Elements of Style Ink: Bleach, Basic Black Cardstock: Gable Green; Basic Black; Taken with Teal Accessories: Large Oval Punch; Scallop Oval Punch; Dimensionals; Black Brads; Trio Flower Punch; Corner Rounder
Thanks for stopping by….

Learning the bleach techniques was one of the most rewarding classes I have attended.
